An introduction

I’ve never done this kind of thing before, so bear with me…

Hello there! I’ve decided to start this blog as a platform to share my daily ramblings (if I’m honest, I think my friends are sick of me venting to them every day…) Mental health is a topic extremely close to my heart due to my first-hand experience, as well as how I’ve seen those close to me suffer. I personally believe mental health is just as important as physical health, although – as we all know – it’s often not treated that way.

I’m hoping this blog can help others similar to me feel less alone, as I know anyone can suffer from poor mental health and it’s often those we least expect (the happy, outgoing, vibrant people sometimes aren’t all they seem). I’ll be posting tips to deal with poor mental health, as I’ve learnt my fair share of healthy coping mechanisms over the years. As well as helping others, I’m hoping this blog will help me by giving me a place to release my inner thoughts – granted, to a bunch of strangers… That’s a healthy coping mechanism, right?

So, if you’re interested in all things mental health, I hope to see you stick around and gain something from my posts, even if it’s just feeling a little less lonely.

  1. To be honest i started off for the same reason. But overtime I noticed that the blog community here is super supportive!
    So now I write for my readers too. For that you’ll have tk engage with one another 😊
