Hi lovelies!
Today I’m going to talk you through my top 10 favourite perfumes – what they smell like, how long they last, and the price of each. Hopefully this post will give you some good recommendations for your next perfume purchase! 🙂

1.) Alien
Alien, by the brand Mugler, is my number 1 favourite perfume – it literally smells phenomenal! http://www.thefragranceshop.co.uk describes this perfume an ‘expression of femininity wrapped in a veil of sensuality’ and I couldn’t agree more. This perfume is probably the strongest scent I own, as well as the most recognisable. I’ve actually had a man who worked at the takeaway ask me if I’m wearing Alien as he knows the scent from his ex-girlfriend… Awkward! Recognisable scents aren’t for everyone but I don’t mind, especially when it smells this good and is SO long-lasting! The body lotion smells absolutely incredible too. I couldn’t recommend this perfume enough.
Price: £45
Worth the price? – 100%
2.) Ghost
The version of Ghost I currently have is the Deep Night scent, which comes in a moon shaped bottle – I will include a picture somewhere in this blog post for you to see what it looks like. This is a perfect night time perfume, but I would say I personally feel it’s a bit too strong and almost ‘sickly’ for the day time as it’s such a strong, unique scent. This is another one that people will most likely recognise on you if they have worn the perfume before, which as I said above I don’t mind as long as the perfume smells great! To me, this perfume has a sweet scent of vanilla mixed with a deep, dark sensual scent. It’s not too feminine, but definitely not too masculine either. Ugh – I’m spraying it on my wrist now to describe the scent and it’s just so good. I can’t get enough!
Price: £25 but is often on offer but £20 on websites like Superdrug
Worth £25? – Absolutely. I feel £25 is quite cheap for such a strong, long-lasting scent.
3.) Lady Million
So you’ve probably smelled the original Million by Paco Rabanne, but have you smelled Lady Million? It’s simply gorgeous. To put it simply, it’s a feminine version of the original Million, and in my opinion it might even be better. I would say this is the perfect feminine scent for me – floral but not too floral, strong but not too ‘in-your-face’, and sensual but not too over over-the-top. I feel unstoppable when I’m wearing this perfume, and that confidence is the best feeling!
Price: £40
Worth it? – Absolutely

4.) Flowerbomb
If you haven’t smelled the Viktor & Rold Flowerbomb perfume, where have you been?! This is probably the most feminine scent in all the ones I’ve listed in this post. Now, I’m not usually particularly fond of overly-floral, feminine scents as I usually prefer dark, musky, sensual perfumes, but there’s just something captivating about Flowerbomb.. You’ll know what I mean when you smell it. Not to sound too cringy, but I feel like a real-life princess when I’m wearing this perfume! It’s the perfect blend of floral and elegant – perfect day or night. I find this perfume to be lovely to wear to weddings or celebration meals.
Price: £40
Worth it? It depends what scents you’re in to. In my opinion, there’s nicer scents you can buy for £40, but if you’re into floral scents I’d say this is definitely the one for you.
5.) Jimmy Choo Blossom
Last but not least, I want to introduce you guys to Blossom – one of my all time favourite scents. I personally LOVE Jimmy Choo perfumes; two of my favourite are Blossom (obviously) and the Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum. Blossom is the most fruity scent out of all 5 I’ve listed, so if you’re into your fruity scents (like me) maybe this could be your new holy grail perfume! Despite this perfume being quite strong, I prefer to wear it in the day as it’s less dark/musky/sensual than the other perfumes I wear. Every time I wear this perfume I receive countless compliments from people around me, asking me what perfume I have on. It’s a gorgeous, unique scent and I can’t get enough of it! I’m actually currently out of it and can’t afford to purchase another bottle just yet – student problems! 😦
Price: £30
Worth it? – Yes, mostly due to how long-lasting it is.
So, there we have it – my top 5 favourite perfumes! What are your favourite perfumes? Is there any on this list you’re itching to try?! One perfume I’ve never tried is Black Opium by YSL – apparently it smells beautiful!
Hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it – let me know in the comments if you want a part 2 of some more of my favourite perfumes!
Lots of love,
Soph. xx
