If you follow me over on Instagram and had a peek at my Insta stories, you’ll know I accidentally ordered two Glossybox’s this month.. Yep, I’m that idiot! Honestly though, I’m not complaining considering it means I get two of each product! Especially considering the yummy little treat they included this month..

Colgate Charcoal Toothpaste: I’ve tried charcoal toothpaste once before, but it was Superdrug’s own. Colgate is a brand I trust and use every day, so I’m super excited to try out this version! I didn’t personally see a huge difference when using the Superdrug charcoal toothpaste, but I did switch between that and the normal one as I’ve been told charcoal toothpaste’s aren’t great for your teeth, so I may not have got the same effects I would have if I’d have been using it daily. I will try out this Colgate toothpaste until it runs out, but if I don’t see a huge difference I’ll be going back to my usual toothpaste as it’s not worth it if it really is bad for your teeth!
Carex Love Hearts Hand Gel: This little bottle is so cute (is it normal to find a hand gel cute?!) and it honestly smells exactly like love hearts. I don’t know about you, but I hate the smell of regular hand gels – they smell so clinical to me – so this scent is so refreshing for me. The hand gel is pink and quite thick, however it literally drys down within a second after applying it (no exaggeration!) I really like this product.

Godiva Belgian Chocolate Bar: My favourite part of the whole box… Chocolate! This chocolate bar tastes so luxurious, and at only 178 calories a bar you really can’t go wrong. It’s so filling and satisfying – it really helped out with my constant sweet tooth! I’m so happy I got 2 of these hehe..
Mitchell and Peach Eau De Perfum: I hate this. Sorry, but it literally smells like pure vodka. I definitely won’t be using this myself.. oops. I might give it to my mum as she tends to like stronger scents.

Palmer’s Coconut Protein Pack Hair Mask: Palmer’s sells in China so they’re not cruelty free, hence why I don’t buy their products myself any more. But I have tried this mask before I knew they sold in China, and it’s amazing. For the price, it’s so deep conditioning and repairing of damaged hair, and leaves it smelling gorgeous and looking shiny. Such a shame their ethics don’t match their high quality.
Delhicious Tea Body Scrub: After the chocolate, this is the second thing I’m most excited to try out. I’ve always wanted to try a coffee or tea scrub, and now I finally have the opportunity without having to spend an extortionate amount on a product before trying it out first! The pink, black and gold packaging of this productis absolutely gorgeous too.

Mayy Banana Setting Powder: I haven’t actually heard of this makeup brand before now, but their packaging is gorgeous! It’s black&white, sleek and not too bulky. The powder also looks & feels very finely milled and smells nice, but not too overbearing. I can’t wait to try this product out!

Overall, I’m not as impressed with this box as I was with their Birthday Edition box last month in August – my haul of that box is here. However, there are still a few products I’m super excited to try, such a the powder and tea body scrub! Oh, and not to forget the chocolate.. What did you think of September’s glossy box? Let me know in the comments! ❤

I have never ordered a subscription box before because of the $$$ (It’s expensive in Canada) and the chance I will end up hating the items, only to be stuck with so much product. How much does the Glossy Box cost? It looks like an upper-end box based on the photos. I am super hesitant trying new products because I tend to lean towards products I am already familiar with and buy on a regular basis.

It costs around £10 per box but I use student discount so it’s £8, which is so good as the products in the box are always over £50! 🙂 Sometimes influencers/youtubers etc have discount codes too x
