Although Autumn is my all-time favourite season, I often find myself spending the majority of it in bed wasting my days away. Whilst, at least in my opinion, Autumn should mainly be spent wrapped up in bed with a cup of tea watching Netflix, there is some things you can do to ensure you make the most out of Autumn. How can you fully enjoy this beautiful season if you never go outside?!
Prepare a cool Halloween outfit: This year, I’ve promised myself I’m going to put more effort than ever into my halloween outfit. Halloween isn’t usually my favourite holiday as I’m terrified of horror films and jump scares, but this year I really want to try and enjoy it as much as I can! I love the idea of planning a cool costume all month and then seeing it finally come together how I pictured it on the night of October 31st!
Stock up your wardrobe with cosy jumpers and wooly hats: Autumn fashion is my absolute favourite out of the whole year, yet I never prepare early enough and always end up just shoving a hoodie and leggings on with a huge coat on top – not this year though! I’ve already started buying my cute jumpers, wooly hats and boots ready to look cute and feel warm&cosy on the first day of Autumn. Gotta get those Instagram pics, right?
Go for walks even if it’s cold: Note to self: I can’t enjoy Autumn for all it’s worth if I spend the whole season cuddled up in bed. However hard it may be to force ourselves to go outside in the cold month of Autumn, it’s so worth it when you get to feel the beautifully coloured leaves scrunching beneath your toes whilst feeling the warmth from a coffee cup envelope your fingers. Go for more walks in Autumn to enjoy the crisp air and beautiful scenery – you won’t regret it!
Try the seasonal drinks in Costa/Starbucks: I’ve only ever tried one Christmas drink and it was the gingerbread latte from starbucks.. I hated it. I have always hated gingerbread so I’d love to know what I was thinking when I bought it?? However, I’m not letting that put me off trying others! I’m going to make a conscious effort to go to coffee shops to do my uni work & blogging this Autumn rather than sitting in the boring old library.
Have a cosy movie night in bed: Now you’ve left the house more than usual, you won’t feel so guilty when you do have a night snuggled up in bed with a cup of tea/hot chocolate! Let’s face it, this is the best bit abut Autumn.
What’s your favourite way to make the most out of Autumn?! Let me know down in the comments.

Ah, I’m not an Autumn fan (bring back Summer) but although I do like the Starbucks gingerbread latte, I’m definitely with you on hot chocolates and snuggling up! x
